We managed the merger of R&R Sport and Torpedo7 to create New Zealand's largest outdoor sports retailer. The initial project involved developing a brand strategy and brand positioning followed by the development of a new brand and a merger campaign. We also created a TV commercial to leverage Torpedo7's sponsorship of Emirates Team New Zealand in the America's Cup.
Emerson’s have been crafting beer since long before craft beer was a thing. The recent explosion in the craft beer industry meant they needed to rethink their brand and their position in the market after 23 years of brewing.
We went back to the start with the brand and created a new tone of voice that was a mix of the self-depreciating Dunedinite and Richard Emerson’s unique sense of humour. We then redesigned all of the packaging, making sure we honoured and referenced the past, and told the many great stories that had never been told, like the fact that the profoundly deaf Richard had named Bird Dog IPA after his favourite Verlaine's song.
Emerson's won the Trophy for the best packaging at the NZ Brewers Guild Awards.
We have worked with iD Dunedin Fashion Week for over a decade, helping establish it as the world renown event it is today.

Research found that travellers are often in a state of anxiety. We developed a clear and concise brand style that used humour to help customers relax and make their trip easier.

This Hamilton based aircraft manufacturer came to us for a full company rebrand and the renaming and repositioning of their utility aircraft. This involved master brand logo, aircraft logos, plane livery, promotional material, website and creative direction of a photoshoot in the highlands of Papua New Guinea. Soon after completing the rebranding they were sold out of planes for the next two years of production.
We helped define and create a new approach to pharmacy where the best of nature and science meet. Natural remedies with evidence to back them up sit alongside clinically tested medicines from the pharmaceutical industry.
